Obituary of Gordon Turpin

Gordon Turpin 78, of Oakhill, Lunenburg County, passed away December 10, 2002 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late James and Emma (Prince) Turpin, Halifax. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Scotia Branch 25 in Halifax. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nina (Williams); brother, Fred and wife Jean, Bayswater; several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by special; friends, the Burress, the Banfield’s and the Richardson’s. He was predeceased by brothers, James and Leonard. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. No flowers by request.
