Obituary of Beatrice Jean Corkum

Beatrice Jean Corkum Age 86, formerly of the Morton Road, Barss Corner, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Blomidon Court Nursing Home, Greenwich, Kings Co., where she had been residing. Born in Farmington, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Ruby (Hatchard) Corkum. Surviving are her sisters, Ruth (Archie) Croft, Hebbs Cross; Katie (Richard) Rafuse, New Minas; brothers, John (Barbara) Corkum, Lower Branch; Allen (May) Corkum, Farmington; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Hazel Corkum, Nellie Moore, Violet Corkum and Maggie Wile. By personal request there will be no public service. Interment will take place in Barss Corner Community Cemetery. No flowers please, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Nova Scotia or charity of choice.
