Obituary of Cecil Eugene Corkum

Cecil Eugene Corkum Age 89 of Pleasantville, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday November 20, 2016 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in West Dublin, he was the son of the late Fred and Beatrice (Romkey) Corkum. Cecil is survived by his second wife Norma; daughters, Catherine (Keith) Dagley, West Dublin; Janice (Allen) Sperry, Hebbville; Peggy (Rex) Frank, West Dublin; step daughter, Tina Graca, Hamilton, Ontario; son, Paul Corkum, West Dublin; grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Jacob, Matthew, Jeramiah, Rebecca, Daniel, Melissa, Chantelle, Michelle, Danielle; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Dorothy (Tanner); step son Paul Mur; brother Bill Corkum and granddaughter Julia Corkum. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m., Thursday, November 24 with funeral service at 2 p.m., Friday November 25, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Pastor Phil Locke officiating.
