Maxwell Burnam Croft Age 92, Bridgewater, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Crescent Beach, he was a son of the late Wilson and Bessie (Bell) Croft. Max was a veteran of the Second World War. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 24, Bridgewater; Lunenburg County Amateur Radio Club (VE1MBC); South Shore Naval Association, Bridgewater Baptist Church, the former IOOF Riverside Lodge #60. He was predeceased by brother, Douglas Milage Croft; his previous wife, Mary (Conrad) Croft; step son, Max Wamboldt Jr. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 with public legion tribute service at 7 p.m., in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23 in Bridgewater Baptist Church, Bridgewater with Rev. Dr. Brian MacArthur officiating. Private family burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
