Obituary of Reginald Harry Edmonds

Reginald "Ted" Harry Edmonds Age 86 of Lower Branch passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 31, 2016 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater with loved ones at his bedside. Born September 13, 1929 in Halifax, he was the son of the late Harry and Violet Edmonds. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force for 22 years and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Bridgewater Branch 24 for 40 years. Ted is survived by his wife, Catherine; his children Vivian Brown, Theresa Edmonds, Kim (Phillip) Spidle, Ken (Donna) Edmonds and step children Charlene (Wayne) Penney, Paul (Jane) Oickle, Sandra Oickle, Randall (Teresa) Oickle; sister Marion Judge; brother Roy Edmonds; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Michael; sister Muriel Judge; brothers Doug and Don. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny`s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday June 4 in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, Rev Francis Boutilier and Rev. Simon Davies officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater or a Charity of Choice.
