Obituary of Allen Vaughn Goldsmith

Allen Vaughn Goldsmith Age 73, Camperdown, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Annapolis, he was the son of the late Vernon and Louise (Kinney) Goldsmith. Surviving are his wife, Gertrude “Trudy” Elizabeth (Schnare) Goldsmith; sons, Jeffrey, Italy Cross; Ian (Heather) Goldsmith, Bridgewater; Ryan Goldsmith (Tanya Cooper), Italy Cross; grandson, Nolan; sister, Sharon (Al) Finkenhagen, Dewberry, Alb.; brothers, Reginald (Sheila), Round Hill; David, Middlewood; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Ben. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, in Pleasantville Baptist Church, Pleasantville with Rev. Mitchell Foley officiating. Private interment in Fort Point Cemetery, Fort Point. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SHAID Animal Shelter or Senior Wheels Association or Canadian Cancer Society.
