Obituary of Marjory F. S. Hebb

Marjory Frances Snowflake Hebb Age 95, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away in Shoreham Village Nursing Home, Chester on Monday, April 4, 2016, where she had been residing. Born in New Liskeard, Ont., she was a daughter of the late Roulston Robert and Mildred Willcock (Menzies) Thorpe. She was a member of Bridgewater United Church and the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 24, Bridgewater. Surviving are her children, Darrel (Lynn Marie), Miramichi, NB; Connie (Art) Feilding, Cherry Hill; Peter (Linda), Chester Basin; Vickie (Mark) Bromley, Waterdown, Ont.; grandchildren, Craig Conrad, Cody Hebb and Megan Hebb; great-granddaughter, Gia Hebb; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Thorpe, Jean (Bordon) Caswell, Margaret (Sam) Hughes, C. Geraldine (Stuart) Moore; brothers, Howard (Joan), Donald and Gordon who were killed in battle during the Second World War. Visitation will be 12 noon, Thursday with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Rev. Robert Zinck officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Flowers accepted, donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion branch 24, Bridgewater.
