Obituary of Olive Veinot

Olive Rebecca Veinot 96, of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully August 24, 2002 in the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born in Rhodes Corner, Lunenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Freelove (Mulock) Lohnes. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater; past member of the A.C.W. and honorary member of the Bridgewater Women’s Institute. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia, Bridgewater; son, Robert, Sudbury, Ontario; granddaughter, Jessie, Victoria, B.C.; niece and 2 nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Mark M. Veinot; sisters, Carrie and Reta. Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, Father Robert Coote officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
