It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lauretta Rose Marie Hemens 79, of Bridgewater Nova Scotia on the July 27, 2016 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Lauretta will be fondly remembered for her smile and gentle manner. Born in Halifax and lived several times in British Columbia but always came back to Nova Scotia where her heart was. Surviving are her sister Pat (Neil), brother George; children, Dennis, Diana, Kathy, Chantel, Mario (Helen) Shawn (Lisa), grandchildren Thomas, Amanda, Alexander , Sara, Hailey, Alicia, Shaunessy, Jermiah, Quinn, Jacob and Nicholas. As well as several nieces and nephews that she loved. By personal request, there will be no visitation or services held at this time. No flowers please, donations may be made to Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
