Obituary of Donald Wayne Herman

Donald Wayne Herman Herman, Donald Wayne (67). It is with profound grief that we share the passing of Donald, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, friend and mentor. Who passed away on August 20, 2016 surrounded by his family, Don was an owner/operator of several Texaco/Ultramar and Goodyear service centres throughout Metro and Bridgewater. He was a former president of RGDA of NS. He held many positions on various automotive boards and councils. Also, he was an avid golfer, bowler and could often be seen visiting his neighbours on his tractor. Don was a leader in his community and known as a kind, generous man. He was always willing to support and encourage those around him in many endeavours. He was predeceased by his parents Elaine (Greek) and Harold Herman and his brother Gary (Butch) Herman. Donald is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his devoted daughter Cindy (Wally), grandsons Shawn and Ryan, twin brother David (Lorraine), and nephews David Jr. Mike and Brian. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Edmonds, Dr. H. Robinson, Dr. N. Lamond, Dr. K Johnson, Dr. L Williams and Dr. J. Hosein for their continuous support of Donald throughout his long struggle with cancer. The family also appreciates the care and support from the nurses at SSRH.
