Obituary of David Arthur Murray Jodrie

David Arthur Murray Jodrie Age 28, Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg Co., died suddenly on Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Pine Grove as a result of an ATV accident. Left to mourn his loss and to celebrate his life are his parents, David and Shelley (Ash) Jodrie, Simpsons Corner; brother, Michael, Lindsay, Ont.; paternal grandmother, Mildred (Mrs. Murray Jodrie), Hebbville; many aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends and his beloved dog, Mack. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Arthur and Betty Ash, paternal grandfather, Murray Jodrie. David was born in Bridgewater and raised in Simpsons Corner. He attended school in New Germany and then continued with post-secondary education at Kingstec Community College, Kentville. David was most recently employed at BMI at Michelin, Bridgewater in the carpentry shop. Visitation for family and friends will be at 1 p.m., Friday, September 9 in Bridgewater United Church, with a Service of Celebration at 2 p.m. Rev. David Campbell officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. A reception will follow in the church gymnasium. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to South Shore In Motion or charity of choice.
