Obituary of Luetta Mary Joudrey

Luetta Mary Joudrey Age 84, Pleasantville, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg, surrounded by her family, where she has been residing for the past seven and a half years. Born in Pleasantville, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Paul and Evelyn (O’Leary) Lantz. Luetta attended the Bridgewater Baptist Church, Bridgewater. Luetta had been a homemaker all her life and exceptional baker for the community. Surviving her are; children, Heather (David) Penny, Conquerall Bank; Allison (Kevin) Mossman, Canning; Stephen (Patricia) Joudrey, Lawrencetown; grandchildren, Holly, Daniel, Jonathan, Colin; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob and Hunter; sisters, Arleen Brown, Emily Conrod, Phyllis Himmelman; brother Lloyd Lantz, sisters in law; Lila and Annie along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Keith Lorraine Joudrey of 57 years, who passed away just 26 days prior to her; also sisters, Pearl and Gladys; brothers Charles and Gordon. There will be no visitation or service at this time. A private interment will take place at a later date in Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville. No flowers please, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia. The family would like to thank all staff at Harbour View Haven Nursing Home for their tremendous support and care during Luetta’s stay.
