Norman George Campbell
Dear Friends, this is to tell you of the passing of Norman George Campbell, March 2nd, 2008, Born: November 17th, 1943 Halifax, N.S., who was most unconditionally loving to his family and loyal to friends. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a B.Commerce Degree and a Masters Degree in Economics, gave many years of loyal service to the NB government and more importantly he made Paddington Bear for me and my sister and read stories to us every single night before bed. He was nice to everyone he met and never pre-judged anyone. He spent his childhood in Bridgewater and died suddenly in Bridgewater, while he was skiing, for him the closest to heaven on earth he could be. Services to remember and say good-bye to him will be held at a later time when we know all can come together. He will be missed and never forgotten, by his wife Janet (Grant), his daughters Heather and Susan and granddaughter Lauren. He will also be terribly missed by all his family, sister, Heather (Brian) Moore, brothers, Stuart (Dawn), Bill (Pat), mother and father in law, Arthur and Elizabeth Grant and brother in law, Angus Grant, his many nephews and nieces and wonderful friends he spent time with over the years. He was predeceased by his parents William B. Campbell and Margaret A. Campbell; sister, Mary Ellen (Lyle) Stelzer. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com
