Obituary of Jennie Lee Meisner

Jennie Lee Meisner It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jennie Lee Meisner of Upper Northfield on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the QE II Health Sciences Center, Infirmary Site, Halifax at the age of 77. Born on July 10, 1938 in Watford, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Ray and Ola (Veinot) Ernst. Jennie treasured spending her time helping family and many friends. Anyone who truly knew Jennie could appreciate her wit and honest opinions. She always put everyone else before herself; whether it was the small things such as preparing a meal for family, helping friends or more serious needs she was always the first one there to lend a helping hand. Her pride and joy was her daughter, son in law, grandchildren and close family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched. We will carry her memory in our hearts and always share our “Jennie” stories. Jennie is survived by her daughter, Karen (Gary) Scott, Lower Northfield; grandchildren, Kyle Scott (Katherine) and Cody Scott (Laura); numerous cousins. Following Jennie’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. A private family committal will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield. Rev. Stephen Kristenson and Rev.
