Obituary of Myles Eric Moore

Myles Eric Moore Age 57, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., died suddenly on Saturday, July 16, 2016 on the fishing vessel “Venture”, just off the coast of Nain, Labrador. Born June 20, 1959 in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Basil Morton and Nellie (Corkum) Moore. He was currently employed as a fisherman with Mersey Seafood’s Ltd., Liverpool. Surviving are his son, Corey (Jenna) Moore, Shearwater; grandchildren, Jorja Moore and Jordyn Moore; sisters, Sherry Moore, Vancouver; Barbara Wilson, Nanaimo, BC.; Sheila (Derek) Dares and Betty Veinotte, all of Bridgewater; companion, Sherri Roy, New Germany; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m., Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, #4895 route 10, New Germany. Cremation will follow and a public graveside service will be held in August when his fellow shipmates return from sea, details will be announced at that time. Donations may be made the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
