Obituary of Jeff Chandler

of Jeff Chandler A loving heart stopped beating in Nanaimo on March 25, 2008 when we lost an amazing, kind man. Jeff was born in Liverpool on March 16, 1962 and lived in Toronto and Nova Scotia until moving to BC in 1988. He was a devoted commercial fisherman who loved to be at sea. His greatest joy was making people laugh. In spite of his size, he was a true teddy bear at heart. He leaves to mourn his wife Jackie, daughters Olivia and Jessie, sons Briar and Glenn, parents Gary and Rita Veinot and Aubrey and Sheree Chandler, siblings Lisa(Gordie) ,Tabitha , Amanda and Jake, niece Kaitlyn ,nephews Ryan and Anthony and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and countless friends on the East and West coasts. He was predeceased by his son Kyle, Brother Craig, grandparents Gerald and Beatrice Cross and Felicia Chandler. Funeral service was held in Nanaimo on April 1, 2008 followed by cremation. A memorial service will be held in the West Northfield Anglican Church on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 2PM. Interment of ashes beside Craig in the Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield. A reception will follow in the community centre, West Northfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund set up for his small children at Scotia Bank, Bridgewater Mall or any charity of choice.
