Obituary of Sylvia Catherine McInnis

Sylvia Catherine (Wamboldt) McInnis Of Bridgewater, in her 96th year, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Shirley (Sheppard) Wamboldt. She was a member of the Bridgewater United Church. Sylvia was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by sons, Ralph (Sandra), Carl (Colette), Cyril (Florence); grandchildren Sherry, Shaunna, Alan and Tanya; great-grandchildren Drew, Jocelyn and Brodie; sister, Dorothy Wardhaugh; brothers, Ron and Harold Wamboldt. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband, Ivan Fielding (April 24, 1995) and brothers, Clyde, Gerald and Everett; sister, Alice Wright. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 10 in Bridgewater United Church, Bridgewater, Rev. David Campbell officiating. A private family burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Bridgewater United Church.
