Obituary of Kevin Michael McMaster

Kevin Michael McMaster McMaster, Michael Kevin - 65 of Pleasantville, Lun. Co., Dartmouth. It is with heavy hearts we announce his passing, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the SSRH after his battle with cancer. Born in Halifax February 6, 1951 to Marion Alice (Rowland) McMaster and Francis Pius McMaster. He was predeceased by his father and brother Howard (Andy). He is survived by his mother Marion, loving wife of 45 years Nancy Alice (Boudreau) McMaster and children Michael (Shauna) Ontario; Shelly (Pleasantville); Matthew (Sarah) Eastern Passage and Julie (Sean), Lantz. Grandchildren, Nathan who was like a son, Jordaan, Logan, Kenzie (only granddaughter), Seanie and Landon all of whom he loved dearly as well as many nieces, nephew and cousins. He enjoyed his visits from his loving cousin Marion Trowbridge (PEI) and nephew Kevin McMaster and Hanah, all of his closest friends and family while in hospital. He will be deeply missed by cousin Christina Maton of England. Michael was a very loving, caring and kind soul who touched the lives of many. He graduated from Dartmouth High and worked 30 years for DND, retiring as foreman of Life raft repair/Sail loft Shop. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his buddies and family, as well as family gatherings where Kathy and Cliff would play guitar. Michael will be missed deeply by wife Nancy and family, especially by his chocolate lab (Molly) whom he loved dearly. Special thank you to Dr. Stoddard, Dr. Walker and the nursing staff of the 3rd Floor surgical unit. Cremation has taken place.
