Obituary of Sgt. Douglas George Rafuse

Douglas George Rafuse (Sgt. Retired) Age 72, Hebbville, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at home. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late George Wallace and Anna Gertrude (MacKinnon) Rafuse. Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Henderson) Rafuse; daughter, Kathy Rafuse (Paul Rhuland), Cherry Hill; son, Howie (Charlene) Rafuse, Hebbs Cross; grandchildren, Courtney (Deanna) Connor, Thomas Rafuse, Kaitlyn Rafuse, Jessica Jean Rafuse, Anna Elizabeth Rafuse; brother, Danny Rafuse, Bridgetown; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Eddie Rafuse; sister, Mary Baker. Doug’s personal request was that there be no visitation, flowers or funeral service. Donations may be made to the charity of choice.
