Obituary of Arlene Gertrude Robar

Arlene Gertrude Robar Age 89, North River, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she had been residing. Born in North River, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the Lemuel and Idella Ernst. Arlene was an avid bingo player; she also loved music and always enjoyed attending the local music jams. Surviving are her sons, Myles (Janice ) Robar, Halifax; George (Tena) Robar, Cornwall; Bruce Robar, Dawson Creek, BC; daughter, Diane (Wilfred) Greek, North River; grandchildren, Shawn Robar, Jessica Robar, Adam Robar, David Robar, Chris Robar, Crystal Robar, Charlene Greek, Theresa Greek, Troy Greek; great grandchildren, Jordan Greek, Caleb Greek, Olivia Greek, Kadelyn Robar, Keaton Cyre, Ashton Cyre, Hailey Cyre, Kaje Robar; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Caleb George Robar; daughter, Judy; sister, Marjorie Robar; brothers, Albert Ernst and Murray Ernst; granddaughter, Trena. By personal request, there will be no public service. A private family graveside will be held at a later date in Epworth Cemetery, New Germany.
