Obituary of Eileen LaVerne Veinot

Eileen LaVerne Veinot Age 91, Springfield, Annapolis Co., passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Ann Arenburg with her loving family by her side. Born in Lake Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late Aseph and Hilda (Tufts) Varner. She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and volunteered and helped at many organizations. She was a proud hockey and baseball mum. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, the Golden Age Club, the Lake Pleasant Hall Association and various other groups. She was also a foster mother. She is survived by her sons, Eric (Leslie), Paul (Marsha), Ace (Colleen), Jeff (Annette); daughters, Anne Arenburg and Bonnie (Donald) Acker; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Udivilla Conrad, Pearl Mailman, Phyllis Varner; brother, Roscoe (Sharon). She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Leon Veinot; son in law, Chester Arenburg; brother, Fletcher Varner and 2 great grandchildren. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, November 23 in Springfield Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Gillieo with interment in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to Springfield Baptist Church. A public reception will begin at 2 p.m. in the Springfield Fire Hall, all are welcome.
