Obituary of Olive Josephine Veinotte

Olive Josephine Veinotte Age 89, Oak Hill, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Shoreham Village Nursing Home, Chester, where she had been residing. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Stanford and Laura (Conrad) Penny. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her sons, Wayne (Sharon) Veinotte, Arthur (Susan) Veinotte and Gerald Veinotte, all of Oak Hill; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Saunders Veinotte; sisters, Nellie Short, Hazel Rafuse, Mabel Corkum; brothers, Maurice, Alonzo, Robert “Bobby”, Carmel and Lawrence. A private interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery at a later date. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Oak Hill and District Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Alzheimers Society of Nova Scotia or charity of choice.
