Obituary of Dorothy Isabelle Walker

Dorothy Isabelle Walker Age 98, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Bradford and Cora (Hubley0 Reeves. Dorothy was a lifelong member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church, Bridgewater. Dot was a very independent lady. She passed her days happily with simple chores and her daily routine in the home that she loved. She was blessed to have MaDonna, her caregiver, who lovingly took care of her needs for so many years. She loved her niece, Shirley M. Walker of Windsor and always looked forward to her many phone calls and delicious home cooked meals that she frequently brought to her. Also surviving is her brother in law, Donald (Beatrice) Walker, Annapolis Royal. She was predeceased by her husband, Randall; sister, Mamie Walker; brothers, Fred and Jack. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her dear friends near and far. Dorothy’s request was there is no visitation or funeral service. There will be a public graveside service at 2 p.m., Monday, April 11 in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Rev. Jacob Price and Rev. Norman Hovland officiating.
