Obituary of Irene Mary Whynot

Irene Mary Whynot Age 79, formerly of Blockhouse and Yarmouth, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where she had been residing. Born in Upper Northfield, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Nellie (Lohnes) Lohnes. She was the last remaining survivor of her immediate family. Surviving are her sons, Milford, Yarmouth; Chester (Judy), Northfield; grandson, Jordan, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Douglas Whynot; son, Mitchell; brother, Charles Lohnes; sister, Jean Gillihan and a nephew. Irene’s personal wish is that there is no visitation or service. Private interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield. No flowers please, donations may be made to Senior Wheels Association or Hillside Cemetery.
