Obituary of Henry Smith

Henry Edward Smith 81, of Dayspring, passed away July 4, 2001 in the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born in Dayspring, he was the son of the late Eden and Ella Smith. He is survived by his wife the former Patricia C. Carson, daughters Donna (Steve) Meisner, Joanne (Ron) Wile, all of Bridgewater; a son Leroy (Debbie), New Canada; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister Leone Fraser, Dayspring. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Kelly Lynn; a sister Grace; a brother Reggie; step-parents Charles and Adelaide Fraser; several step-brothers and step-sisters. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today, funeral service will be held 1:30 Friday both in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Dr. Thomas Harvey officiating. Interment to follow in Dayspring Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia or to the charity of choice.
