Osborne Whynot
Age 79, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 28, 2016. Born in New Germany, he was a son of the late Oran and Mildred (Ernst) Whynot. Surviving are his children, Kimberly Whynot, Bridgewater; David Whynot (Sandy), Martins River; grandson, Marcus (Amanda) Whynot, great granddaughter, Sophie; brother James (Joann), New Germany; a niece and a nephew; step daughters, Nancy Watson (Gary), New Germany; Judi Colp, Nineveh; step grandchildren, Kenny Watson, James (Beth) Watson, Zachary (Megan) Colp, Allie (Will) Colp, William (Reba) Colp; step grandchildren, Makayla, Kenny, Malachi, Harley, Thea;. He was predeceased by his wife the former, Marilyn Doris Laidlaw; a daughter in infancy. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. A public graveside service and burial will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 3 in Hillside Cemetery, Simpsons Corner. Rev. Stephen Kristenson officiating. Family flowers only, donations may be made to his son, David to assist with his dialysis treatments or to the charity of your choice, through the funeral home. The family wish to thank Dr. J.C.
