Obituary of Osborne Whynot

Osborne Whynot Age 79, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 28, 2016. Born in New Germany, he was a son of the late Oran and Mildred (Ernst) Whynot. Surviving are his children, Kimberly Whynot, Bridgewater; David Whynot (Sandy), Martins River; grandson, Marcus (Amanda) Whynot, great granddaughter, Sophie; brother James (Joann), New Germany; a niece and a nephew; step daughters, Nancy Watson (Gary), New Germany; Judi Colp, Nineveh; step grandchildren, Kenny Watson, James (Beth) Watson, Zachary (Megan) Colp, Allie (Will) Colp, William (Reba) Colp; step grandchildren, Makayla, Kenny, Malachi, Harley, Thea;. He was predeceased by his wife the former, Marilyn Doris Laidlaw; a daughter in infancy. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. A public graveside service and burial will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 3 in Hillside Cemetery, Simpsons Corner. Rev. Stephen Kristenson officiating.
