Obituary of John Loraine Woodworth

John Loraine Woodworth Age 75. It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of John on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at home in Bridgewater. Born July 1, 1940 in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late John Grafton and Greta Marion (Bush) Woodworth. John was a watch repairer by trade. He was employed in Toronto and Halifax and then moving to Bridgewater to be employed by Ernst Credit Jewellers until retirement. He was also a member of the former IOOF Empire Lodge 109. John enjoyed his bingo nights. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life with his family and friends. John was in poor health for a good portion of his life. He is survived by brothers, Robert (Glenda), Keith (Karen), all of Bridgewater; sisters, Shirley (Calvin), Rhodes Corner; Carolee Richardson, Bridgewater; Marion (Glenwood), Auburndale; sister in law, Lorna Woodworth, Bridgewater; aunt, Sally Bush, Bridgewater also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Bruce Woodworth; sister, Olive Woodworth, nephew Baby Woodworth in infancy; uncle Lawson Bush. By personal request there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Private interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Rev. Paul Jensen officiating.
