Obituary of Elva Mae Corkun

of Elva Mae Corkun 92, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Chelsea, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (Robar) Weagle. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. Surviving are her son, Everett (Sharon) Corkum, Oakhill; grandson, Darren (Becky) Corkum; great grandsons, James and Maxwell Corkum, all of Hantsport. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; brother, Vernon; sisters, Maude, Mary and Annie. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
