Obituary of Ronald David Croft

of Ronald David Croft 66 of Middlewood, Lunenburg Co., passed away Friday, July 11th, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Middlewood, Lunenburg Co., he was the son of the late Jordan and Clara (Crouse) Croft. Ronald enjoyed music and played many instruments such as the fiddle, guitar, organ and accordion. He also showed his carpenter side by building his own home. He enjoyed operating heavy equipment and took a great interest in machinery. Besides his wife Barbara "Bunny", Ronald is survived by his daughter Janis Power, New Germany; sons Jamie (Janice), Bridgewater; Jerome (Lori-Ann), Middlewood; son-in-law Al, New Canada; sisters Eileen Freeman, Hebbs Cross; Pauline (Russell) Wentzell, Centre; grandchildren Jessica, Caitlin, Nicholas and Sara along with several nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by his sister Christine and brothers Garnet and Hallot. Visitation will be held 7 to 9PM Tuesday July 15 in C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A memorial service will be held 11AM Wednesday July 16 in the Middlewood United Church, Middlewood, Rev. Neil McEwen officiating. Burial will follow in the Middlewood United Church Cemetery.
