Obituary of Gerald Crouse

Gerald Carman Crouse 83, of Auburndale, Lunenburg County, passed away January 30, 2003 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Upper Branch, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Joshua and Louetta (Beck) Crouse. He served as a Staff Sgt. with the RCOC during the Second World War. After the war he was employed with Simpsons as an accountant until he retired in 1979. He was an avid gardener, golfer and enjoyed barbeques with his friends. He is survived by his brother, Edgar (Norma), Liverpool; nephews, Gary and Richard Crouse; Paul and Blaine Mailman. He was predeceased by a sister, Wilma Mailman. A memorial service will be held 2pm Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater at a later date. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of your choice. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request.
