Obituary of Ruby Jean Crouse

of Ruby Jean Crouse 93, went home to be with the Lord on march 7, 2008. Born in Bridgewater on January 8, 1915, she died at the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, since the Second World War and a member of the Bridgewater United Baptist Church most of her life and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a daughter of Ernest John and Bernice Margaret (Hubley) Strothard. Her victory in Jesus is celebrated by her children, Linburn (Grace Crouse) Crouse, Charleston; Donna (Gary) Gayton, Lantz; David (Joan Nauss) Crouse, Chester and Anthony (Tony) (Beverly Babcock) Crouse, Dartmouth. She is survived by her sister, Effie Arenburg, Harbourview Haven, Lunenburg; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Linburn Crouse; sisters, Catherine (Vernon) Wilkie; Clarice (Stuart) Parks; grandchildren, Lisa Ann Gayton; James Linburn Crouse and John Gregory Crouse. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11 at Bridgewater Baptist Church. Rev. Eric Campbell officiating. Flowers from the family only, donations may be made to the Bridgewater Baptist Church or charity of choice.
