Myrtle Viola Dares 96, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away Saturday, November 15, 2003 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in West Clifford, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Ella (Wile) Hirtle. Surviving are daughter, Pauline (Arnold) Hebb, Newcombville; son, Leaman, Bridgewater; grandsons, Gary (Karen) Hebb, Newcombville; Byron Hebb, Lower Branch; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Gladys (Walter) McLean, Bridgewater. She was predeceased by her husband St. Clair Dares; brothers, Lawrence, Lester, Merlin, Murray; sister, Flossie; half brothers, Lorenzo, Eldridge, Judson, Ernest; half sisters, Lillian, Eudie, Agnes and Alma. Visitation, 2 – 4pm, Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, and where funeral will be 11am Tuesday, Rev Dr. Thomas Harvey and Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
