Norman Arthur Elliott
82, Bridgewater, passed away August 25, 2003 at home. Born in Vancouver, he was a son of the late James and Ellen (Jackson) Elliott. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the RCAF for three and half years as a member of the Ghost Squadron in England (1942-1945). After the war, Norman lived in Bridgewater and worked throughout the Maritime Provinces as a Manufacturers Agent. Survived by his wife the former Frances Faulkenham. His children, Gerald (Myrna), Fall River; Melanie Elliott, Halifax; Debra (Mike) Gill, St. Margaret’s Bay, son in law Geoffrey Clark, Seabright. Four grandchildren, Stephen (Wanda), Bedford; Mark (Lisa) – Waverley; Heather (Mark) Carter, Lower Sackville; Linda Allot, Port Coquitlan, B.C., two great grandchildren, Samantha Veno, Amherst; Jennifer Allot, Port Coquitlan, sister, Margaret Morrow, Port Moody, B.C. He was predeceased by daughter, Melodie Elliott Clark, sisters, Gladys Bond, Joyce Cameron, brother Harry Elliott. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Memorial service 11 a.m., Thursday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater. Father Robert Coote officiating. Family interment in Brookside Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
