Obituary of Geneva Getson

Geneva Lucy Mildred Getson 102, of LaHave, Lunenburg County, passed away June 21, 2003 in Shoreham Village, Chester. Born in LaHave, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Georgina (Wilkie) Hayes. She is survived by her son, Carvel (Ivy), Dartmouth; daughter, Barbara Hayward, Dublin Shore; sister, Betty Oldham, Highpark, Mass.; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert, brothers, Arthur, William and Roy. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A memorial service will be held 11am Tuesday in the West Side United Church, Pentz, Rev Sally McShane officiating. Burial will be in the Fort Point Cemetery, LaHave. No flowers by request.
