Obituary of Joyce Gorton

Joyce Marie Gorton 72, of West Dublin, Lunenburg County, passed away July 14, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Florida, she was a daughter of the late Henry Stanley and Veta B. (Collicutt) Benjamin. After the war, she trained at the Nova Scotia Hospital. She worked as a RN in British Columbia and Florida. She is survived by a daughter Holly Constantino; sons Glendon Lee Gorton, Gary Kim Gorton, all of Florida; 3 granddaughters; a brother Robert Benjamin, Dartmouth; a sister Shirley A. Benjamin, Edgewater, Florida. She was predeceased by her brother Brian Stanley Benjamin. A memorial service will be held 2pm Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev Sally McShane officiating. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request.
