Obituary of Grace Naugler

Grace Darling Naugler 94, of Bridgewater passed away peacefully. On October 18, 2003, God called an angel to his side. Born, June 27, 1909, in Indian Point to Matilda and John Eisnor. She had resided in Bridgewater for 75 years. Grace was active with the Hospital Gift Shop, Senior Citizens Club and Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater where she was honored by the Diocese of N.S. ACW for her many years of service. Grace painted for several years and received many awards. Her paintings will be treasured by all who have received one. Grace was an active bridge player where she spent many enjoyable hours with her close friends. Grace is survived by her beloved family, son, Harry Jr. (Zelda) Naugler, Greenwood; daughters, Beverly (Robert) Chapman, Halifax; Donna (Herbert) Eagle, Newcombville; Sharon DeWolfe, Halifax; Tena (George) Robar, New Cornwall; grandchildren, John, David, Debbie, Kevin, Sonya, Tracey, Natalie, Nikki, Craig, Shaun, Jessica and nine great grandchildren; brothers, Ernest, Cecil, Jackie Eisnor; sisters, Myrna Baker, Mary Hinch. She was predeceased by her husband Harry (1966), son in law, Peter DeWolfe, Halifax; brother Sterling Eisnor, Jamaica; sister, Myrtle Wentzell, Boston, USA. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater archdeacon John Clarke officiating. Private family burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater or the charity of your choice.
