Obituary of Glenwood Oickle

Glenwood Ira Oickle 92, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, passed away June 7, 2003 in the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Reuben and Eleanor (Aulenback) Oickle. He is survived by sons, Bruce (Marie), Lower Branch; Robert (Phyllis), Midville Branch; Arthur (Diane), Harmony, Queens County; Gerald (Elaine), Conquerall Mills; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ferne (Corkum); son, Donald; a daughter in infancy; grandson, Monte; granddaughter in infancy; brothers, George, Nelson, Rex; sisters, Vera, Ruth, Laura, Grace, Lois and Evelyn. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Cookville, Mr. Carson Falkenham officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
