Obituary of Audrey Marie Doering

of Audrey Marie Doering 82, North Hills Nursing Home, Granville Ferry , Annapolis Co., formerly of Bridgewater, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008 in the home. Born in Conquerall Bank, she was the daughter of the late Allen St. Clair and Mable Jane (Corkum) Burns. She was active in several groups in Bridgewater, serving as president of the Bridgewater Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, attending the Bridgewater United Church, where she was also a Sunday School teacher; she had strong community and family values. She is survived by daughters, Marilyn (Richard) Greene, Berwick; Linda (Richard) Andersen, Conquerall Mills; Barbara (Ken) Selig, Italy Cross; son, George (Carolyn), Conquerall Mills; grandchildren, Lloyd, Rodney, Lacie, Shane, Shawn, Stephen and Samantha; great grandchildren, Megan, Jonathon; great-great grandchild, Kaleb; step grandchildren Stephen and Gregory; brother, Lloyd (Jackie) Burns, Sackville. She was predeceased by husband, George Maxwell Doering; infant daughter, Marjorie; half sister, Jean Maughan; step mother, Ruth Burns. Visitation 12 noon to 2 p.m., Tuesday in Bridgewater United Church, Bridgewater followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating, interment to follow in Dayspring Cemetery.
