Obituary of Marion Bolivar

Marion Alice Bolivar 87, of Dayspring, Lunenburg County, passed away October 20, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Dayspring, she was a daughter of the late Hiram and Hattie (Fraser) Franklin. Marion was a member of both the Mae Chapter # 038, Order of the Eastern Star, Bridgewater and the Rebecca Lodge #53, Upper LaHave. She was a long time member of the Bridgewater United Baptist Church and Group IV. She is survived by sons, Bruce (Joan) and William (Audrey); daughter-in-law Madeline Bolivar, all of Dayspring 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister Gertrude Leggie, Wentzell Lake; a brother George Franklin, Pentz. She was predeceased by her husband Walter F. Bolivar; son Avard W. Bolivar; brothers, Harold Franklin, Lawrence Franklin; sisters, Helen Franklin and Olive Woods. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, Rev. Dr. Thomas Harvey officiating, with cremation to follow. Private family burial will be in the Dayspring Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to N. S. Heart and Stroke Foundation, Echo Fund of the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater or charity of your choice. Marion has been very special to all of the family and will be greatly missed.
