Obituary of Frank Silver

Frank Theodore Silver 78, Bridgewater, passed away Friday, July 4, 2003 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater after a brief illness. Born in Branch LaHave, he was a son of the late Willoughby and Winnifred (Cook) Silver. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served overseas with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sylvia (Tanner) Silver; son, Vern (Marie), Windsor, N.S.; daughter, Winnifred (Bill) Young, St. Stephen, N.B.; brother, Earle W. Silver, Bridgewater, N.S.; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. In keeping with Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada, 5475 Spring Garden Rd., Suite 407, Cornwallis House, Halifax, N.S., B3J 3T2 or the charity of your choice.
