Obituary of Harold Henderson

Harold Dudley Henderson 92, Bridgewater, passed away on March 30, 2001. Born in Inverness, Cape Breton, he was a son of the late James Blair and Georgina Henderson. He was a faithful member of St. Matthew’s United Church, Inverness, a choir member, elder and held many offices. He owned and operated Henderson’s General Store for 45 years. During the Second World War, he worked at Clark Ruse aircraft in Eastern Passage. He is survived by his loving wife Louise and sons, Bruce (Barb), Bridgewater; Douglas, Bedford; daughter Ann (Steve) Miller, Bridgewater and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters Evelyn and Gertrude; a brother Edgar. No visitation. Family service only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
