Obituary of Alice Boute

Alice Buote 95, Barss Corner, formerly of Halifax and Dartmouth passed away Sunday, July 4, 2004 in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Halifax, April 16, 1909 she was a daughter of the late John J. and Ada (Lohnar) Aikenhead. She was a survivor of the Halifax Explosion. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Irvin in 1972. Sister, Jessie Smith, Laura Donahae; brothers, Fred, David, Bill and John. Cremation has taken place with a service at a later date. No flowers please. Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
