Obituary of Randolph Conrad

Randolph Pearl Conrad 84, Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully, Monday, December 20, 2004 at home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Garfield and Lena (Turner ) Conrad. Randolph was well liked by everyone who knew him. He loved his family, was hard working and was a loyal employee of Maritime Tel and Tel for 31 years. He was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a former member of the IOOF. His passion was the family farm and his animals. Randolph is survived by his wife of 61, years, Udivilla (Varner); sons, Aubrey (Ronna), John (Annette), all of Simpsons Corner; daughters, Joan (Wayne) Morton, Kentville; Jean (Jack) Chesley, Middleton; Jane (John) Calder, Brookside; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and his sister, Nancy, Greenwood. He was predeceased by sister, Bonnie Mosher. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. No visitation at the funeral home by request. A private family memorial service will be held. Donations in Randolph’s memory may be made to the New Germany and Area Medical Center or the VON Lunenburg County branch.
