Obituary of Myrtle Henley

Myrtle Mae Henley 87 of North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia, formerly of Chelsea died August 18, 2001, in the home. Born in Molega Mines, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Frances “Fannie” (Riley) Slauenwhite. She is survived by a daughter Flo, Mrs. Cyril McInnis, Chelsea; granddaughter Tanya (Royden) Naugler, Chelsea; 2 sisters, Frances (Dr. H. J. “Josh”) Uhlman, Lunenburg; Freda (Harry Jr.) Freeman, Greenfield. She was predeceased by her husband Purl, a son Albert, Brothers, Bernard, Clarence, James and a sister Lottie Henley. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday from the Chelsea Baptist Church, Rev. John Kaulback officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, North Queens Nursing Home or charity of your choice.
