Obituary of John Desveaux

John Alexander DesVeaux 67, of Scarsdale, Lunenburg County, passed away August 28, 2004 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Cheticamp Cape Breton, he was the only son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Poirier) DesVeaux. John favorite hobby was fishing and he also enjoyed working in the woods. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Jeannette Smith, Moncton, NB; Mary Helen DesVeaux, Cape Breton; Dorothy (Gordon) Mount, Kingston; Rita (Phillip) Lohnes, New Germany; Juli (David) Choban, Carleton Place, Ontario. There will be no visitation by request; a grave side funeral service will be 2pm Saturday in Hope of the resurrection Cemetery, Porter Lake. Minister Barry MacIntyre, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, officiating. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
