Obituary of Marjorie Doggett

Marjorie Mae Doggett 77, Bridgewater, formally of Hunts Point, passed away October 17, 2004 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Port Mouton she was the daughter of the late James Farish and Nellie Sarah Huskins. She was an active member in her church and community for many years. She was a former employee of the Liverpool Golf and Country Club, working in the Pro Shop. She was a member of Bay View Senior’s and a former member of Wesley United Church, Hunts Point. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Vincent) Wood, Canso; son, Gary and grandson Brett Doggett, Bridgewater. Granddaughters, Karen (Timothy) DeWolfe, Bedford, Heather (Jeffery Morash) Wood, Seabright. Sisters, Winifred Wagner, West Berlin, Connie (Roy) Stratton, Picton, Ontario; Rosalyn (Donald) Henderson, Brooklyn. Brothers, Lester (Gertrude) Huskins, Liverpool, Isaiah (Sheila) Huskins, Milton. Several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Kenneth Eldridge, an infant son and sister, Joyce Joudrey. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and service 11 a.m. Thursday both in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
