Obituary of Drew Eileen

M.E. Eileen Drew - 84, passed away November 22, 2004 at Grand View Manor, Berwick, where she had been a resident since August.

She was the only daughter of the late Layton and Laverta (Acker) Conrad of Stanburne, Lunenburg County. In 1941, she married Clifford Drew and they lived in New Germany until his death in 1998. She then made her home with her eldest son Roland and wife Linda, Berwick, where she was lovingly cared for. Since June, she had a lengthy stay at Valley Regional Hospital and in August moved to Grand View Manor. Her family and many friends new and old will miss her. She will also be greatly missed by the family pet “Muffin”.

Survived by sons, Roland (Linda), Berwick; Raymond (Gloria), London, Ontario; grandchildren, Shelley (Sidney), Lower Sackville; Darren (Marianne), Morden; Shawn (Laurie), Bedford; Michael, London, Ont; great grandchildren, Melody, Lexie, Justin, Devon and Kira.

Predeceased by husband Clifford, infant daughter Wilma, grandson Richard, brothers Clinton, Buril, Denton and Paul.

Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday in Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany. Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating. Family burial will follow in Epworth Cemetery, New Germany. Family flowers only, donations may be made to V.O.N., Annapolis branch, Grand View Manor, Berwick or Valley Regional Hospital.
