Obituary of Muriel Josephine Elaine Frank

of Muriel Josephine Elaine Frank 84, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Muriel on October 29, 2008 at Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg. Born in Branch LaHave, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ella (Meisner) Crouse. Muriel worked as a waitress in a number of restaurants in Bridgewater until her retirement in 1984. She was a long time member of Branch 24 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She will be sadly missed by daughter, Elsie (Fred) Parkins, Ladysmith, BC; Marion (George) Fiddler, Cold Lake, AB; sons, Arthur (Cindy), Toronto, ON; Paul (Linda), Halifax, and long time companion, Rex Melanson; twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Grace Morine, Avonport. She was predeceased by husband, Fred; sisters, Lorna, Hilda, Doris, Lyda; brothers Earlen, Eugene, Walter, Lloyd, Moyle, Harold, Doran and Garland. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 3 p.m. Saturday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Captain Karen Holland, officiating. Burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
