Obituary of Elizabeth House

Elizabeth Pauline House 90, of Lake Center, formerly of Kelowna, BC, passed away peacefully December 14, 2004 in Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Beth was a graduate of the class of 1935 of the University of Saskatchewan. She volunteered for many organizations and enjoyed bridge, needlework, golf, gardening, entertaining and travel. She will be missed by her family and many friends from across the country. She was the daughter of Arthur Thomas and Louise (Cox), and beloved wife of the late Ernest K. House (1985). She is survived by sons Ronald (Penelope), David (Janice) and Dennis (Doris); grandchildren Leslie McFarlane (Graham), Erica Fraser (Michael), Michael, Rachael, Peter and Gregory and great-grandson Evan McFarlane. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, December 22nd in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Crousetown, The Rev. David Phillips officiating. Interment will take place in Kelowna at a later date. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice through Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater (www.sweenysfuneralhome.com).
