Obituary of Ruby Lijeskic

Ruby Marie Lijeskic (Sperry) Lijeskic (Sperry), Ruby Marie, 57, of Toronto, Ontario, formerly of Petite Riviere, Lunenburg County, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto after a long battle with cancer. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of Jennie Sperry, who resides at the Hillside Pines, Bridgewater and the late Marshall Sperry of Petite Riviere. She is survived by her husband, Misa and son Zarko; brother Herbie (Gail) Sperry, Petite Riviere; sisters, Ruth (Byron) Abbott, Bridgewater; Irene Grace, Wileville; Maurita (Michael) Croft, Bridgewater. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 1:30pm Thursday, Rev Karen Ohrt officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesley United Cemetery, Petite Riviere. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
